electrician not programmer

hello all
am an electrician that is in the need of some advice. getting more customers requesting the home automation, basically just lighting. put some sample cooper aspire rf devices and a homeseer hs3 controller in my home to play with. just looking for some advise as to where to learn the programming. have a home coming up that will have about 100 devices. so need to get something figured out. have searched online and cant seem to find anything starting with the basic programming. any help would be greatly appreciated.
